On that note, we know how critical it is for people to have access to digital tools to coordinate direct relief and to keep communities close. For the next few months, we are offering free NationBuilder accounts to governments, agencies, and NGOs organizing essential service provision and emergency response for COVID-19. If you or someone you know are organizing such an effort, please have them contact us.
If you’re using NationBuilder to coordinate emergency response, are changing an in-person event to a digital one, or are trying to keep your community connected right now, we created the resources linked here for you. Additionally, we’re hosting webinars on each of those topics in the next few weeks, and are making NationBuilder Live’s daily sessions a place where people can gather to get additional support for their work.
We’re also aware of how important it is to gather with each other (remotely) in meaningful ways right now. Since 2012, the team at NationBuilder has practiced what we call story circles. If you’ve attended one of our longer gatherings, you’ve had this powerful experience—and it’s one we want to bring to our whole community. For the foreseeable future, we’ll be hosting online story circles if you want a space to share your story and listen to others’ during these challenging days.
