I am trying to make a pdf file downloadable from a page. I went to the support site so I have already uploaded and linked to the file. However I want to force the file to download as opposed to opening.
The only solutions I have found involved creating a download.php file but unfortunately this is not a permitted file type in NB.

Unfortunately, forcing a download of a certain filetype is a server-side configuration, and can't be done on NationBuilder due to security reasons.
Opening PDFs within the browser instead of downloading them is typically due to a browser plug-in that the client has installed, or one which came baked into the browser. These plugins can usually be disabled in your browser settings.
