I'm trying to have a listing of the next three upcoming events listed on other pages than the calendar page that the events reside under. How do I call the variable that holds the event information from another page. I have seen the "page.calendar.events_upcoming_nearby_count" variable, but this seems to only work if you are on the "Calendar" page that holds the events.

and then put the following code into my layout.html file:
{% subpage “calendar” with “events_latest” %}
There is an error, though instead of what I was expecting. I’m getting a “Liquid error: can’t convert nil into String” error on the page instead of the event details.
