Scott Tachiki
Chief Finance Officer
Scott is a commercially focused leader with a diverse background in finance, law, consulting, operations and sales.
Prior to joining NationBuilder, Scott managed the North American deal desk team at Google Cloud, responsible for negotiating and closing transactions that represented half of the company’s global revenue. Scott’s previous experience includes being CFO of Liferay, an open source enterprise software company, Deloitte & Touche, where he specialized in the financial services industry, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Howard Rice et al. (now Arnold & Porter), where he provided legal counsel to clients in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions.
Scott lives in the SF Bay Area and enjoys swimming, spending time with friends and family, watching his sons play sports, and attending Cal sporting events. Scott has served on the board of the George Washington High School Basketball Foundation since its inception and coached high school basketball for seven years.
Scott holds a law degree from Berkeley Law School and a BS in Business Administration, also from UC Berkeley.
