I cannot believe this is still an open, unresolved issue, more than three years since it was raised!

a) Nationbuilder is, first and foremost a CRM system. It’s bad – REALLY bad – relationship management to go bugging the families of dead people. In fact, it could be totally counter-productive.
b) No matter what the underlying data structure, if Nationbuilder is sitting on a 21st Century enterprise RDBMS, it should be a relatively trivial task to implement such functionality.

Can I ask someone at Nationbuilder please to look at this from the point of view of a Nationbuilder customer and more importantly, from the perspective of the families of the bereaved and make it a high priority issue to resolve.

Further to Paul’s comment, I’d argue it’s considerably more pressing than the 25 May GDPR deadline. Systems have to be compliant by then, which means all non-compliant notifications and data sent before that date will need to be audited, accounted for and justified, or deleted. Worst case, that is potentially a lot of contact “requiring action” that will simply be lost and there will be serious issues if any alert system doesn’t work absolutely perfectly from day one.

The sooner any such system becomes available, the more seamless the transition will be and the more opportunity there will be for users to contribute to getting it right before it becomes mission critical.

Issue: Hi,

I am at the earliest stage of migrating an existing website from another platform onto Nationbuilder. Is there any way/tools to batch import existing page content into Nationbuilder, or does this have to be done entirely manually for all pages?
