Hi,
I need to create multiple text boxes for the address fields - I already know that NationBuilder likes to keep a very minimalistic approach to user signup and in particular the address fields, however, am i able to bypass this by creating my own sign up form? Is it possible for me to interface with the peoples database?
Many Thanks
NationBuilder provides a single address field and then parses that data to create mappable records. We do not currently — nor do we plan to — support individual boxes for portions of an address.
Separate boxes can lead to form fatigue and a drop-off in user signups. We require minimal signup information on fields to maximize initial signups, and have created advanced search functionality under the "address" section to help find any people with incomplete addresses who may need followup by phone or email.
If you have specific examples of the address parser not working correctly, we're happy to take a look if you email specific details to [email protected].

You could write directly to the database using our API. You can see more in-depth documentation about how our People API works, here: http://nationbuilder.com/people_api

I understand that there is no native support for individual boxes for address portions – This was not the question. The question is: Is it possible for me to create my own signup form and/or interface with the peoples database via an ‘app’ or some other means.
Thank you,
Regards
