How long should it take changes made in Dropbox to show up live on the site?

More than a few minutes? Seems that way. Makes development rather slow if s.

In general, theme changes will pull down from Dropbox within a few minutes. These changes are saved in "Draft (Preview) Mode" which won't show up on the Live Site until you Publish the changes. If you are looking to see the changes prior to publishing on the Live Site, I would recommend using the "Preview and Publish" tool by going to Website > Click on the name of your website > Theme > Preview and Publish.

Oh. I see now. It’s actually a two stage process. You still have to go to the theme admin page and ‘publish the changes’. I have to say that’s a bit underwhelming. A bit excessive on the caution front. I mean if you make a mistake or whatever, Dropbox will let you revert and most likely the text editor you’re using has an undo button.

Nice idea NationBuilder but the implementation I think needs a review.
