Make sure you refer to our theme documentation when making customizations to your NationBuilder site template.

The default layout of your theme draws from the theme.scss file. You will notice that when modifying theme.scss, there is a comment that suggests you check out the Default button above the template editor to review SCSS specific to the stock theme with which you started. Once you identify the elements you want to modify (in this case, the column divs), simply override desired attributes below the comment as shown.
