How do I change the checkboxes in the Survey Webpage template to default on unchecked?

In the light of GDPR coming into force in May I need the default in the Survey template to be unchecked checkboxes, how can I change the code in the template so they display as unchecked?

Hi Eva,

If you are referring to the default checked email opt-in and text message opt-in boxes on all of our pages, you can reverse this setting under Website (in the blue banner)>Site Settings. Here is a visual of this area and the setting here .

I want to see something like this code but for the Survey Template Page so I can ensure my checkboxes are default unticked, but also that the get an email to confirm so we get the required double opt in.

Yes I am however I have already changed all site settings to default to unticked boxes but the boxes in my Survey page still comes up as pre ticked. So this clearly didn’t work.

How do I change the code in the Survey Template to ensure they are unticked?
