I am trying to add our upcoming events to the sidebar supporter nav. I have tried different ways from previous questions. I must be doing something wrong. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

In order to add events to the sidebar / supporter nav of your custom theme, you'll need to follow the instructions on our Theme Documentation related to displaying content from one page on another page. This requires some level of comfort with HTML, CSS and Liquid Markup.
If — after reading the documentation and working within your custom theme — you're finding that you're not able to make the customizations you're attempting, I would recommend reaching out to one of our NationBuilder Experts and/or Architects. They'll be able to help you with this sort of advanced theme customization.
