How do I delete a FAQ page?

There doesn't appear to be a red "delete page" button or any other method to permanently remove a FAQ page.

When a page has not been published, the Delete Page button does not appear. In the general settings of any page, you can change the status of the page from a drop-down menu:

If you select delete from this area, the page will be deleted. You can also archive a page from here to retain the listing of the page in your control panel without it displaying on your live site.

There is a difference between changing the status of a page to deleted vs. clicking the "Delete Page" button: when the status is deleted, the page will be stored in your database and can be reviewed by searching for the page slug. When a page has been deleted using the Delete Page button, it is permanently deleted from your database and cannot be retrieved again. (When the delete button is used, the slug can also be re-used for a new page.)

Sebastián — Thanks for your feedback. I’ve updated our documentation on how to delete a page (http://nationbuilder.com/how_do_i_delete_a_page), and removed outdated references to the “red” delete button. The button is no longer red, which may be the source of some confusion.

I apologize for the oversight in updating our documentation.

So where is this “Delete Page” button NB seems to think exists? Many users have reported here and other threads that they cannot locate such button given your instructions. Can a NB employee sift through it’s convoluted back-end and confirm the location of this mysterious button?

I have this exact same problem for a number of different pages of various types. I’ve checked to make sure there are no subpages, and yet I cannot delete these pages because there is no red “Delete page” button. I really would like to see this problem resolved so I can re-use the slugs.

Thanks, Kathy. I’ve tried to locate where that subpage is (the one you mention) and I can’t seem to locate it. Can you guide me? I just want to delete the FAQ page I created and anything/all pages within that FAQ page. Thank you.

The page shown in the screencast has a subpage. The subpage will need to be deleted before the page itself can be deleted.
