UK based customers were unable to record canvas data accurately, as two new political parties recently emerged in the UK and our political party codes were outdated. They are now up-to-date.

We've updated the functionality surrounding automatic donation autoresponse emails to make them optional. You can uncheck the box next to "Automatically send donors an email" if you would like this function turned off. This is helpful if you use donation pages for paid event RSVP's, or if your payment processor already sends a confirmation receipt and you want to reduce the number of notification emails supporters receive.

We've made it possible to add a "Name" to an email blast, as we know using "Slug" was confusing. The slug still exists and is editable, but when creating an email blast, you can input a "Name" similar to what you do when you create pages. "Name" will also be what you search now rather than slug. Any previous filters you have set up will still work in the same manner you set them up!

We've moved a few things around in the Settings tab to make it more intuitive, as well as give the plethora of information stored here some space. So, we've moved "Contacts and billing" to the avatar menu in the top right corner of the page. We also gave "Phone numbers" its own tab, and renamed "Defaults" to "Nation Defaults."

[All sections] We've fixed our filtering date comparisons as some customers were seeing strange behavior where, for example, a membership that started on a particular date would still show up in an after search for that same date. Basically, there was an overlap in the “occurs on X date” and “occurs after x date" (e.g. 12-25-2019 at 2AM is after 12-25-2019 00:00:00 UTC, so it would show up in a filter for “after Christmas” despite still being “on Christmas”). This is no longer the case!

[Website] Ticket levels that offer more than 1 ticket per purchase now have those additional tickets counted towards the RSVP count and are shown as additional guests for that user, like a +1 does.

Smart fields help personalize your message by crafting messages that feel 1:1, but can be created once and sent en masse. You can use smart fields to personalize the introduction to your blast, be specific in your fundraising ask by referencing the last amount someone donated or their year-to-date total, or send your supporters a personalized recruiter code to share with their networks.

If the consent subject is being used in any of the ways just described, the trash can is disabled.

[Website] Unsubscribe pages are now available in more languages. This also includes the subject line for password reset emails. You can make the change in Website > Site settings.
